Angels
Nannies and Babysitters prides itself on finding you the best quality
childcarer. One way in which we feel we can do this best is by doing home
visits. This way, we can get to know a bit more about you and your child(ren)'s
needs. We will then only put forward applicants who we feel would really
suit the post. This cuts down on a lot of time wasting.
We can provide
a wide range of carers to suit different situations and, once you have
found what you are looking for, Angels Nannies and Babysitters will help
you with nanny tax, National Insurance issues and nanny contracts. Angels
Nannies and Babysitters also offers a follow-up support placement scheme
to ensure a smooth start to what we hope will be a happy and lasting relationship.
All nannies
have to have at least 2 years sole charge nanny experience, a full and
up to date c.v detailing full employment history with names address and
contact details of employers, full passport, home address details, original
childcare qualifications and a full criminal records check to register
with angels nannies and babysitters. Please find out more on criminal
records checks by following this link.
Babysitters:
daytime or evening
Evening
babysitters are experienced nannies who want to earn extra money in the
evenings. The registration process is the same as full or part time nannies.
They would be expected to assist with bath time and help with getting
the child(ren) ready for bed, reading a story etc, should you so wish.
Once the child(ren) are in bed asleep, the babysitters would then be expected
to keep a safe and watchful eye over them.
Daytime babysitters
also follow the same registration process. They would just watch over
your child(ren) for a maximum of five hours within the home and would
need a packed lunch type meal left for the child.

Nannies:
full and part time
Nannies
are experienced childcarers with childcare qualifications and/or sole
charge childcare experience either within a private home setting or nursery/school
and will hold a current criminal records police check. They will be expected
to take full or part time sole or shared care of your child(ren). This
care will include all nursery/school drop offs and pick-ups, after school
or daytime play activities, trips to the park, library, zoo, play groups,
music groups, swimming and play dates etc, preparing and cooking your
child(ren)'s meals, quick tidy up before leaving, ie children's toys,
washing up etc, taking your child(ren) to doctors/dentists/hairdressers
appointments, doing your child(ren)'s laundry and ironing, but, most importantly
of all, they are to be the emotional and physical support to your child(ren)
while you are unable to be with them.

A weekend

They would
be expected to do exactly the same duties as a full time or part time
nanny.
The nanny's
salary would be agreed between you and the nanny, but Angels Nannies and
Babysitters give a guide price of approximately £250 from 9pm Friday
until 4pm Sunday. All nannies would have full police checks.

Night
nannies
Night nannies
come to your home and sleep over. They can help in many ways: a newborn
who needs feeding, a
toddler with a poor sleep pattern or simply for parents who need to be
away for the night. The nannies would be expected to settle your child(ren)
for bed, bathing, dressing, feeding, story time etc, and then see to all
their needs throughout the night. In the morning, if the child(ren) are
awake, we would expect the nanny to assist with either breakfast or dressing
routine.
Night nannies'
hours are from approximately 9pm to 7am. Pay would be in the region of
£80 per night net (but, again, pay is agreed between parent and
nanny).

Maternity
nurses
At Angels
Nannies and Babysitters, all maternity staff have at least 10 years' experience
or are mothers themselves.
It is a very
important time in someone's life when they have a newborn, both emotionally
and physically, and at Angels Nannies and Babysitters, we feel that the
best possible person to understand exactly how Mum feels is another mother.
Our maternity
team will accompany mothers-to-be on hospital visits, they can be present
at the birth, waiting at the birthplace, or can be ready when Mum returns
from hospital.
A
maternity nurse can be on hand during the day/night/weekend, and this
can be daily or residential for however long they are needed. Maternity
nurses would be expected to follow whichever routine you as parents would
want to be put in place, or they can advise on and put in place a routine
that they think suits the family best should you so wish. They will give
advice and help with breastfeeding, expressing milk and preventing various
health issues associated with breastfeeding, and also advise on bottle-feeding.
Maternity
nurses are responsible for the sterilising of all feeding equipment, making
up feeds, keeping your baby's nursery clean and tidy, doing all your baby's
laundry, and keeping the crib/moses basket clean and tidy ensuring all
bed linen is washed and ironed. They will also run any errands in connection
with your newborn.
But, most
importantly, your maternity nurse will be with you not to take over from
your very special time, but to give you support, friendship, advice and
a good listening ear to each and every member of your family.
Maternity
nurses are self-employed and charge approximately £650 per week
for live-in or £120 per day for live out.
| Agency
Fee |
£125
per booking, for a maximum of four months' duration. Any bookings
longer than four months would be classed as two bookings. |
